Plastic Bangles", a stack of three vintage frosted Lucite bangles. The first is a huge applejuice rounded square, the second is a pinkish wide sliced bangle with wave carving all around, the third is a plain wide bangle in bright spring green.
Vintage French moonglow mother of pearl Lucite bangles. One blue, two in orchid purple.
A pair of vintage cased Lucite bangles with a transparent/opaque pillowy pattern inside the plastic. One is shades of Canary yellow, the other is shades of bright pastel green.
A matched set of five vintage black and white striped cased Lucite bangles, as seen on page 159 of "Plastic Bangles" by Tortoriello and Lyons.
See more of this type of vintage tone-on-tone striped cased Lucite bangles on pages 152 and 153 of "Plastic Bangles" by Tortoriello and Lyons. One in transparent and opaque fuscia pink, the other in a rarer opaque fuscia pink and purple.
OOOOh vintage Avon! From the late 1970s-1980s, a matched set of 4 opaque chunky "Color-Go-Round" Bakelite tube bangles in ivory, cocoa, pale blue, and kelly green. All have milky marbling. Similar ones are on page 116 of "Plastic Bangles" by Tortoriello and Lyons
Vintage French moonglow mother of pearl Lucite bangles. The wide white one is a Book Piece, on page 104 of "Plastic Bangles". I thought the deep cherry with fuscia and the black one went well with it.
On page 179 of "Plastic Bangles" by Tortoriello and Lyons, a matched pair of vintage 1960s sliced Lucite bangles. Deep golden yellow over white.
A very wonderful piece. Definitely vintage, 50s from the look of it. The hinge is quite tight, and if you wore this it would fit snugly. It's translucent peach, and opaque cream.
